Cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi’s brother died at the trauma centre of AIIMS Delhi on Monday night. His brother Mahesh Panchal (32) had claimed that he was ambushed by a group of men, overpowered, doused with petrol and set on fire at a Faridabad mandi in the early hours of December 13 last year. Based on his complaint, an FIR was lodged at Saran police station against one accused he had identified - Arman - and six other unidentified accused. Nevertheless, he later denied identifying Arman during the court proceedings and changed his statements to the court and the police.
