Mystery deaths of two Indian students in US

IndiaTimes Sunday, 14 January 2024
A student from Telangana and another from Andhra Pradesh died under suspicious circumstances in Connecticut on Sunday, barely 16 days after having reached the US for higher studies. Connecticut police informed the parents of Gattu Dinesh (22) and Nikesh - also in his early twenties - that the roommates "died in sleep". Dinesh was from Telangana's Wanaparthy and Nikesh from AP's Srikakulam. In the absence of any official word about the exact cause of the deaths, Dinesh's father Gattu Venkanna suspected "carbon monoxide poisoning".
