Election Commission launches nationwide awareness drive on EVMs and VVPATs

The Election Commission is conducting a countrywide awareness programme on electronic voting machines and voter verifiable paper audit trail (VVPAT) to educate citizens about the voting process. The programme includes physical demonstrations to dispel misconceptions, educate voters about the features and procedure of EVMs and VVPATs, and boost voter confidence.
