Of 5 Babri verdict judges, one to attend, one yet to take call

A Supreme Court bench of then CJI Ranjan Gogoi and Justices S A Bobde, D Y Chandrachud, Ashok Bhushan and S Abdul Nazeer had settled a more than 150-year-old Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid land dispute through a unanimous verdict in November 2019 by allowing construction of Ram Temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya, but only one among them would attend the temple deity's consecration ceremony.
