Manipur: 6 jawans injured as Assam Rifles soldier fires at colleagues before shooting self

An Assam Rifles Jawan opened fire on his colleagues resulting in injuries to six of them on Wednesday near the Indo - Myanmar border in South Manipur before turning the weapon on himself and taking his own life. All the wounded jawans, have been safely transported to the Military Hospital for additional medical care and are reported to be in stable condition.​​
