Don't publish unverified news, Press Council of India tells media organisations
The Press Council of India issued an advisory asking print media to refrain from publishing false or manipulated content that may disturb communal harmony. The council referred to the I&B ministry's observations on unverified, provocative, and fake messages related to the Ram temple event in Ayodhya.
