2024 Lok Sabha polls: 96 crore citizens, including 47 crore women, eligible to cast vote

More than 96 crore people, with 47 crore being women, have the eligibility to participate in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. The election infrastructure is preparing to establish over 1.2 million polling booths throughout India. Notably, over 1.73 crore eligible voters fall within the age bracket of 18 to 19 years, as reported by the Election Commission.
