Doctor couple's arguments turn ugly, wife sets flat on fire

A flat in Pune's Nalanda apartment belonging to a doctor couple was reduced to ashes after an argument between them took an ugly turn on Monday. "The wife allegedly set the flat on fire, and left for her parents' place," police said.Based on the complaint lodged by Govind Vaijwade, a 40-year-old consultant neurologist, Mukundwadi police have registered an FIR against his wife, Veena Vaijwade. The case has been registered under IPC Sections 435 (mischief with fire or explosive with intent to cause damage) and 427 (mischief causing damage) against her.
