IAF's 'Bambi Bucket' op helps to contain raging forest fire at Nilgiris
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has deployed the AF Mi-17 V5 helicopter for several Bambi Bucket operations to extinguish forest fires in the Nilgiris region. Working alongside the forest department and state administration, these helicopters have effectively dispensed more than 16,000 liters of water to contain the fire's advancement.
