Prakash Ambedkar's Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) decided to exit the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance and will instead pursue independent participation in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in Maharashtra. This choice follows fruitless discussions concerning the distribution of seats within the coalition. The party also announced candidates for 8 constituencies in Maharashtra.
