Bombay HC orders premature release of don-turned-politician
The Nagpur bench of Bombay High Court ordered the early release of underworld don-turned-politician Arun Gawli from Nagpur Central Jail. Justices Vinay Joshi and Vrushali Joshi permitted Gawli's plea challenging the rejection of his release request. The government has four weeks to decide. Gawli was convicted in 2012 for murder.
