Centre laying ground to impose President's Rule in Delhi, says Atishi
Friday, 12 April 2024 AAP ministers and other functionaries on Friday addressed separate press conferences to voice their apprehension that the Centre was laying the ground in Delhi for imposing President's Rule. Minister Atishi alleged that a "big political conspiracy" had been hatched by the BJP-led govt to move in that direction. She warned that any such move would be "illegal, unconstitutional".
BJP has named Rekha Gupta as the new Chief Minister of Delhi, making her the fourth woman to hold the post after Sushma Swaraj, Sheila Dikshit, and Atishi.
