Mamata dares I-T officials to check chopper of BJP leaders

IndiaTimes Monday, 15 April 2024
West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee challenged Income Tax officials on Monday to inspect the helicopter used by BJP leaders for their election campaign. This comes after a controversy arose over the TMC's allegation of an "raid" by income tax officials on a helicopter used by party leader Abhishek Banerjee. Speaking at a rally in Cooch Behar, Banerjee accused the BJP of exploiting central agencies against the TMC before the elections.
