Arvind Kejriwal, the party's chief, will once again contest from the high-profile New Delhi constituency, a seat he won in 2013 and 2015. This marks a crucial moment in the Delhi political landscape, with intense competition expected, particularly with Congress fielding Sandeep Dikshit, son of the late Sheila Dikshit. Eknath Shinde Resigns as Maharashtra CM, Speculation Over Mahayuti Alliance's Next Leadership Choice

Eknath Shinde has stepped down as the Chief Minister of Maharashtra following the Mahayuti alliance’s resounding victory in the assembly elections. Shinde submitted his resignation to Governor C P Radhakrishnan, who requested him to serve as a caretaker CM until a successor is appointed. The spotlight now shifts to the selection of the next chief minister, with BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis and Shinde both emerging as contenders. The BJP, which secured 132 seats to become the single-largest party, has bolstered its claim to the top post. However, the Shiv Sena, led by Shinde, is demanding continuity in leadership, citing coalition precedents and support from the party’s MLAs and the Maratha community. #EknathShinde #MaharashtraPolitics #MahayutiAlliance #DevendraFadnavis #ShivSena #MaharashtraElections #CMResignation #PoliticalTransition #MarathaCommunity #BJPLeadership #AjitPawar #AlliancePolitics #NextCM #MaharashtraNews #PowerShift ~HT.318~PR.152~ED.101~GR.121~
