SC issues contempt notice to DDA for felling trees in the southern ridge
Wednesday, 24 April 2024 The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) Vice-Chairman has been served a contempt notice by the Supreme Court for cutting down more than 1,000 trees to build a road near Maidan Garhi, connecting Chattarpur Road and SAARC University. The Shehbaz Sharif-led government in Pakistan has decided to ban the jailed former Prime Minister Imran Khan's Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, the country's Information Minister announced on Monday.
