Union Minister Anurag Thakur during a public rally on Saturday claimed that 'foreign forces were involved in making the Congress party's election promises.' Thakur said that these forces wanted to give away the property of people's children to Muslims, get rid of the country's nuclear weapons, and divide the nation based on caste and region.
Around 75,000 Muslim worshippers gathered at Al-Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem for the final Friday prayers of Ramadan. Despite facing strict Israeli restrictions and reported harassment, Palestinians participated in the prayers at the sacred site. The number of worshippers this year was notably lower due to increased security measures. Al-Aqsa Mosque, a significant religious site for Muslims, remains a focal point of tensions, with ongoing restrictions on Palestinian access further intensifying regional grievances.
