SC disposes of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren's plea over high court's delay in pronouncing order

On Friday, the Supreme Court resolved the petition brought forth by former Jharkhand chief minister Hemant Soren concerning the delay in the high court's ruling on his arrest challenge. The apex court noted that the petition had become moot following the issuance of the order. Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta, forming the bench, stated that Hemant Soren's plea regarding the high court's tardiness in deciding on his arrest challenge had lost its significance.
