10 naxalites arrested in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district

In a successful anti-Naxalite operation conducted by the state police and CRPF's elite CoBRA unit, ten Naxalites were taken into custody in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district on Monday.​​The joint operation was carried out by personnel from the District Reserve Guard, local police, and the 204th, 206th, and 208th battalions of the CoBRA unit in the forest near Duled village.

The attack, which occurred on Sunday, involved terrorists opening fire on a bus carrying pilgrims, resulting in the bus veering off the road and falling into a deep gorge. Tragically, nine lives were lost and 37 others were injured in the incident. Sinha revealed that the bus driver was specifically targeted by the terrorists.
