Indian Rafale jets in Alaska for ‘Red Flag’ combat exercise
Eight Indian Rafale fighter jets, accompanied by two IL-78 air-to-air refuelers and three C-17 Globemaster III strategic airlift aircraft, will participate in the prestigious multi-nation 'Red Flag' exercise in Alaska, USA. The IAF aircraft completed a transatlantic journey, making staging stops in Greece and Portugal, before arriving at Eielson USAF Base in Alaska on Thursday.
