On the eve of vote counting, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar highlighted that India achieved the highest voter turnout in the world during the Lok Sabha elections. Speaking at a press conference, Kumar applauded the voters. "In the Lok Sabha elections, India recorded the highest voter turnout in the world," he said. He also described the Indian elections as a "miracle."
