Child marriage attempt foiled in MP's Indore

Authorities in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, thwarted a family's attempt to marry off a 15 year old girl to a 27 year old man from Ahmedabad. The Women and Child Development department's flying squad intervened following a tip-off, stopping the ceremony. The family admitted to the planned wedding, citing threats of elopement as their reason.
