Amritsar youth fighting for Russian army killed on Ukraine battlefield

Tejpal Singh, a 30-year-old resident of Amritsar, had dreams of serving in the Indian Army or police force. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he found himself joining the Russian army instead. Tragically, Singh lost his life while fighting on the battlefield in Ukraine. According to his wife, Parminder Kaur, Singh had traveled to Russia on a tourist visa on January 12. At least two other Indian men have also been killed in the ongoing conflict.
