Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Sunday accused the BJP and AIADMK of using 'proxy' PMK to contest the July 10 Vikravandi bypoll. He stressed that the INDIA bloc must secure a decisive victory for the DMK candidate. On June 15, Tamil Nadu's main opposition, AIADMK, declared a boycott of the Vikravandi bypoll. They claimed the ruling DMK would engage in 'violence'.
