CBI files FIR on NEET-UG 'leak', sends special teams to Bihar, Gujarat

The agency will also examine the role of public servants connected with conduct of the examination besides probing the entire "gamut of events and the larger conspiracy", sources said. CBI will take over probes being conducted by the police in Bihar and Gujarat. On Sunday, Gujarat accorded sanction to CBI to probe alleged irregularities in the exam held on May 5. Bihar may follow suit soon, sources said. CBI has filed the case based on a written complaint from the director of the department of higher education in the education ministry.
