The opposition INDIA bloc has stepped up its demands ahead of the Union Budget session set to begin on July 22, with TMC leader Derek O'Brien listing out specific requests for the NDA-led central government. The TMC leader and Rajya Sabha MP emphasized the need for smooth parliamentary operations and called for a deputy speaker post in Lok Sabha to be allocated to an MP from the INDIA bloc.
