Heavy rains in Uttarakhand caused landslides, blocking Badrinath Highway near Patalganga Langsi Tunnel, Yamunotri Highway at Pagal Nala, trapping many. Panic in Joshimath was captured on video. Authorities clear debris. A red alert was issued in Nainital. Landslides blocked 21 roads in Pithoragarh, debris hit homes in Kapkot, Garud Ganga river overflowed.
