'Mamata is lying': Kolkata rape-murder victim's mother accuses govt of offering money

The mother of the RG Kar Medical College rape and murder victim accused a district official of offering money, opposing West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee's denial. Banerjee dismissed these claims as slander and part of a conspiracy by the Centre and left parties. She also noted that Kolkata Police Commissioner Vineet Goyal offered to resign.
