Focus on safety, convenience of passengers, FM directs railways

Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman has instructed railways to speed up converting 40,000 normal rail bogies to Vande Bharat standards for better passenger safety and comfort. She also emphasized phased implementation of the Kavach system and timely completion of capital expenditure targets, while railway officials updated her on ongoing projects.
