SC orders SIT for crimes against Tamil Nadu, West Bengal women

The Supreme Court halted a Madras High Court order to transfer the investigation of a 10-year-old girl's repeated sexual assault to the CBI. Expressing concern over the police's handling of the case, the court formed a special investigation team and requested the Tamil Nadu government to provide a list of IPS officers for the team.
