A 21-year-old Dalit woman was allegedly raped by an upper caste man in August 2023. She and her family were forced to settle the matter for Rs 2.5 lakh at a panchayat. When her marriage was called off due to threats and a leaked video, the family sought police help, resulting in an FIR against five men.
