Ranya Rao gold smuggling case: Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah orders probe into airport protocol violation, role of actor's DGP father under scanner

The Karnataka government has initiated an investigation into alleged protocol violations in the gold smuggling case involving Kannada actress Ranya Rao, daughter of senior IPS officer K Ramachandra Rao. The probe, led by additional chief secretary Gaurav Gupta, also examines potential misuse of official privileges to assist in her smuggling activities.
