India, France to kick off high-voltage naval exercise in Arabian Sea
Tuesday, 18 March 2025 India and France kick off the ‘Varuna’ naval exercise in the Arabian Sea, involving aircraft carriers, warships, submarines, fighters, and helicopters. INS Vikrant and the French aircraft carrier Charles De Gaulle are among the highlighted participants. The exercise includes maritime drills and tactical operations, enhancing naval interoperability and operational synergy between the two nations.

The strikes, part of a 24/7 campaign, come in response to rising Houthi aggression in the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. As smoke and fire engulf rebel strongholds, reports suggest this could be one of the most intense aerial assaults yet. With the Houthis vowing revenge and U.S. forces doubling down, tensions in the region are reaching a breaking point
