Sir Keir Starmer has chatted with schoolchildren in Kyiv on his first visit to the country since he became prime minister in July. On the visit he met his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy to sign a new agreement which sets out co-operation between the countries that will stretch into the next century. One pupil asked Starmer to reveal his favourite football player, to which the Arsenal fan replied that it was Martin Ødegaard and that his "all-time favourite Arsenal player is Thierry Henry".
