Fresh Met Office yellow warning as brutal ice blast to freeze UK
Thursday, 2 January 2025 () The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice spanning Scotland, Northern Ireland and North Wales, reaching down to the Midlands until 10am on Thursday.
The UK is in the grip of a wintry spell of weather, with the Met Office issuing two fresh amber warnings for snow and ice for parts of England and Wales over the weekend. Snow has already been spotted in Conwy Valley in Wales.
