Stricken ferry that was leaking oil into sea pulled free - as new oil spill found
Wednesday, 1 November 2023 A ferry that ran aground and leaked oil into the Baltic Sea has been pulled free - with the rescue operation revealing another oil spill, the Swedish coastguard has said.
9,000 troops from 20 NATO countries conducted extensive military exercises in the Baltic Sea region, with Sweden participating as a full NATO member for the first time.
