Slovakian PM Robert Fico returns home from hospital after being shot

Robert Fico, the prime minister of Slovakia who was wounded five times during an attempted assassination, was released from the hospital and sent home. Fico was brought to his house, where, according to Banska Bystrica hospital director Miriam Lapunikova, he is currently recuperating from the attack. Slovakia, a member of Nato and the European Union, has little history of political violence.
