North Korea says its recent missile tests involved new ballistic missile with 'super-large warhead'

IndiaTimes Tuesday, 2 July 2024
North Korea tested a new ballistic missile capable of carrying a warhead. These missile tests, including the Hwasongpho-11Da-4.5, signal readiness to counter US threats. The country has intensified weapon trials since 2022, targeting key nations and leveraging an expanded nuclear arsenal for future diplomacy. Monday's missile test was North Korea's first weapons firing in five days. Last Wednesday, North Korea launched what it called a multiwarhead missile in the first known test of a developmental weapon aimed at penetrating its rivals' missile defenses.
