F-16s dent Russia's strike on Ukraine

IndiaTimes Wednesday, 28 August 2024
Russia continued missile and drone attacks on Ukraine, killing at least six. President Zelensky confirmed Western-supplied F-16s intercepted some missiles. He called for more defense support following extensive strikes on Ukrainian infrastructure. Kyiv's air defenses reportedly neutralized all threats aimed at the city. The attacks appear to be in retaliation for Ukraine's incursion into Russia's Kursk region.
