China's envoy in New York expelled

China's envoy in New York was expelled following the arrest of Linda Sun, a former aide to Governor Kathy Hochul, and her husband Chris Hu. They were charged with secretly acting as agents for China. Hochul's office terminated Sun in March 2023 upon discovering misconduct and has cooperated with authorities throughout the investigation.
