Several thousand people marched through cities across Poland on Friday (January 29) in a third day of protests against a near-total ban on abortion since it was put into effect by the conservative government earlier this week.
Sir Keir Starmer has hailed his "fantastic" discussions with Polish President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk and the "growing relationship" between the two countries, on a visit to Poland. Speaking at an event for business leaders at the British embassy in Warsaw, the UK's prime minister added, "our business ties are thriving, bilateral trade is growing fast". Report by Brooksl.
