Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs Anurag Thakur arrived at Parliament to present the budget at a time when India is recovering from COVID-19 crisis.
This year, the Union Budget will be delivered in paperless form for the first time.
Finance Minister had also launched the 'Union Budget Mobile App' for hassle-free access of Budget documents by Members of Parliament (MPs) and the general public using the simplest form of digital convenience.
The first part of the Budget Session is scheduled to continue till February 15 while the second part of the session will be held from March 8 to April 8.
The Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is all set to present the Union Budget on July 23, marking the first full budget post the 2024 elections. With the economy showing robust growth and stock market indices like the Sensex and Nifty reaching record highs, thereās a lot at stake.
