Opposition walkout from RS: 'Government is responsible', says Sanjay Singh

Opposition walked out of Rajya Sabha on February 02 as the Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu didn't conduct discussion in farm laws as he said that it will be discussed in Lok Sabha first.

The Chairman adjourned the house to meet at 11:30 am.

On the walk out, AAP leader Sanjay Singh held the government responsible.

He asked that if they cannot discuss such issues, the three farm laws, in the Parliament then what is the whole point of running it?

"If we cannot discuss over such issues in the Parliament then what is the whole point of running it?

We demanded discussion on the three agriculture laws and repealing of the same.

And what discussion they want, they are giving multiple dates to farmers also.

The bill has been passed with less majority.

Discussion should be held to take back the laws," said Sanjay Singh while speaking to ANI.
