Congress, Oppositionā€™s Hypocrisy Exposed in Maharashtra over EVM and Repolling| Oneindia

The Maharashtra Assembly elections once again spotlighted the oppositionā€™s habit of blaming EVMs when results donā€™t favor them. In Solapur's Markadwadi village, NCP(SP) supporters, upset over BJPā€™s Ram Satpute leading locally despite Uttamrao Jankarā€™s overall win, planned an illegal ballot ā€œre-election.ā€ Authorities rightly shut it down, calling it anti-democratic. Ironically, EVMsā€”introduced by Congressā€”are now their scapegoat. Locals dismissed the rhetoric, crediting Satputeā€™s development work, with one saying, ā€œHe earned his votes, no tampering needed.ā€ #EVMControversy #MaharashtraPolitics #DemocracyMatters #ElectionIntegrity #EVM Also Read EVM Whiners Or Sore Losers?
