ITBP personnel seen carrying ration to villages cut off due to glacier burst and traversing through mountainous terrain in Uttarakhand.
As many as 13 villages in Uttarakhand were cut off after the lone bridge connecting them to the rest of the state was washed away in the flash floods near the Rishi Ganga project in the Chamoli district on Sunday.Disaster struck Uttarakhand's Chamoli district on February 7, 2021 in the form of an avalanche and deluge, after a portion of the Nanda Devi glacier broke off.
