The man, who has authored several best selling books too, speaks to Oneindia News exclusively about his experience at the Jaipur Literature festival, with which he has been attached since its inception.
Prime Minister Modi highlighted ongoing efforts to normalize the situation in Manipur, citing over 11,000 FIRs registered and 500 arrests made. He noted a reduction in violence, with schools, colleges, and offices reopening. Modi emphasized continued dialogue with stakeholders and the Home Minister's extended stay in the region. He mentioned central government support for flood relief and warned against attempts to escalate tensions. Modi also criticized Congress for imposing President's rule in Manipur ten times in the past.
