Rahul Gandhi slams Centre over rising fuel prices; Robert Vadra on bicycle

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi hit out at the Modi government over rising fuel prices.

Rahul accused the Centre of emptying the pockets of the common man and filling the pockets of its friends for free.

ā€œWhen you see the fast moving meter while filling fuel in your car at the petrol pump, do remember that the crude oil rates have not risen but fallen.

Petrol is at Rs 100 a litre.

The Modi government is doing the great work of emptying your pockets and filling the pockets of its friends,ā€ the Congress leader tweeted in Hindi.

Meanwhile, businessman Robert Vadra rode a bicycle from his Sujan Singh Park residence to his Sukhdev vihar office in protest against the rising fuel prices.

ā€œIf I have to be people's voice then first I have to change my mode of transport.

We can only request Prime Minister to look into the matter,ā€ said Vadra.

Youth wing of Shiv Sena also staged protest in Mumbai against rising fuel prices.

They put up ā€˜Yahi Hai Acche Dinā€™ banners comparing prices between 2015 & 2021.
