Watch: ‘TMC worried’ by CBI notice, says BJP; Mamata visits nephew’s house

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee visited the residence of her nephew Abhishek Banerjee ahead of the CBI questioning his wife in the coal pilferage case.

Meanwhile, the BJP mocked the Trinamool Congress and said that they are scared worried about the CBI notice.

BJP leader Dilip Ghosh said that the CBI acts on the basis of evidence it finds and if they have done nothing wrong, there is no reason for them to worry.

He further claimed that the CBI notices are not linked to the upcoming polls in the state.

‘I agree that elections are around the corner, but because of the elections, the investigation should not be stopped.

The scam should be unearthed and culprits should be punished,’ Ghosh said.
