Bengal polls: Dharmendra Pradhan urges EC to deploy paramilitary force

Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan appealed to EC to deploy paramilitary forces in poll-bound West Bengal.

The union minister was in Nandigram to attend BJP's 'padayatra' led by Suvendu Adhikari.

Pradhan's appeal comes after an alleged clash between BJP and TMC workers in Nandigram.

“Mamata Banerjee should fight elections in West Bengal in a democratic way.

After 'padayatra' started today, our youth leader was attacked in front of me.

I appeal to the Election Commission to deploy paramilitary forces in Nandigram.

I am going to visit our leader in the hospital, his condition is serious.

I have also got to know that TMC goons are standing outside the hospital,” he said.

Last week, Mamata had been injured in Nandigram and had alleged a conspiracy by BJP.

Nandigram is set witness the most high-profile contest of West Bengal elections.

CM Mamata Banerjee will take on her former aide Adhikari who joined BJP last year.

Jharkhand Assembly Poll Results: Find out what factors decided the previous government of Jharkhand

The previous Jharkhand Assembly elections were decided by a mix of socio-economic and political factors that resonated deeply with the state's voters. Key issues included tribal welfare, unemployment, rural development, and land rights, which became decisive in swaying public opinion. The JMM-Congress-RJD alliance successfully leveraged its tribal connect and promises of inclusive governance, securing significant support from rural and marginalised communities. Meanwhile, the BJP's focus on development projects and infrastructure faced backlash from anti-incumbency sentiments and dissatisfaction over economic policies. #jharkhandelection #maharashtraelectionresult2024 #electionresults2024 #votecounting #liveresults #liveelectionresults #assemblyelectionresult #jharkhandresult #jharkhandelectionresult #jharkhandelectionresultlive #jharkhandelection2024 #electionresults #brekingnews #maharashtraelection2024 #livenews ~HT.318~PR.152~ED.103~GR.121~

Maharashtra Election Result: Mahayuti’s Huge Lead, Silence Around Matoshree | MVA Accepts Loss?

The Maharashtra assembly election results reveal a commanding lead for the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, signalling a decisive victory. As the numbers roll in, celebrations have erupted in Mahayuti strongholds, while a tense silence looms over Matoshree, the residence of Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Uddhav Thackeray. Early trends indicate the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) alliance struggling to keep pace, with key constituencies slipping from their grasp.
