'Kerala has 4 lakh bogus voters': Congress complaints to EC against Vijayan govt

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is trying to steal popular mandate by enrolling bogus voters in Kerala, alleged Indian National Congress general secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala.

He said that three kind of clearing irregularities in the electoral list that have come out.

Surjewala alleged that same voter registered multiple times in different booths.

Secondly he put allegations that same voter registered in different constituencies.

Third he highlighted that picture of voters remains the same but names have been changed.

It's a clear cut case of fraud and it cannot happen with the active complicity of state machinery, added.

"We pointed out all these facts and asked Election Commission to urgently intervene and to clean the electoral list," he said.

Surjewala added that the number of bogus voters is 4 lakh.
