India gifts one lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Nepal Army
As a mark of friendship and strong ties between New Delhi and Kathmandu, India gifted one lakh doses of COVID-19 vaccines to the Nepal Army on March 28.
The nine packages of Covishield vaccines, manufactured by the Serum Institute of India (SII) arrived in Kathmandu, via an Air India flight late in the evening.
So far, India has provided COVID-19 vaccines to over 70 countries.
India has also provided medical supplies to 150 nations in the fight during pandemic.
